More Objects in Waiting

A Rein for the Fairy Queen's Horse

I began by collecting coloured fabrics and objects pertaining to the Fairy Queen's attire when she first met Thomas of Ercildoune in the woods near his castle .

Her dress was of bright green silk and her saddle cloth of scarlet satin .
Tiny bells hanging from her horse's harness of braided silk jingled as she rode through the woods .
